Pure Majek finally saw water for

the first time on Tuesday 16^th December 2008 at 12:30hrs. This was after the mast was stood and last touch-ups made to

the antifoul.

All went to plan with the launch at

Montys Marina (Caboolture River), after which we then motored for an hour or so to its new home at Newport Marina. As the motors got used to their new job, speed increased from 7.2 to 7.8kts (with nine souls on board, fuel, gas and water).

At the marina she did sit a little aft low

with the twenty or so persons enjoying the odd ale however, after a few quiet ones remaining level was no longer the

yachts problem.
